From Grade 4 onwards, students also study\nSocial Studies, further strengthening their understanding of the world around\nthem and their place within it.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>At\nthe heart of our classrooms is a student-centred approach where teachers act as\nfacilitators of learning. Lessons are highly interactive, encouraging\ndiscussion, collaboration and active participation. Through carefully planned\nlessons, students are guided to think critically, solve problems and express\ntheir ideas with confidence. Technology plays a key role across subjects, with\nICT both taught as a subject and integrated into daily learning to enhance\nresearch, creativity and digital literacy.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>We\nplace strong emphasis on differentiation, ensuring that every child is both\nsupported and challenged. Lessons are designed to meet the needs of all\nlearners through structured group work, guided support and extension\nopportunities. High-achieving students are encouraged to extend their thinking\nthrough internal, inter-school and international competitions, while students\nwho require additional support benefit from targeted interventions and\nspecialised guidance from our Learning Support Department, particularly in\nMathematics and Science.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>Assessment\nin KS2 is both continuous and purposeful. Students are evaluated through a\ncombination of formative and summative assessments as well as graded projects.\nWhile most assessments are seamlessly integrated into daily learning, students\nin Grades 5 and 6 are also gradually prepared for more formal assessment\nsettings. Progress is carefully tracked and outcomes are shared promptly with\nparents through our school management system, B12, ensuring transparency and\nclear communication.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>In\nGrade 6, students are further prepared for the Pearson Edexcel external\nexaminations. Our experienced teachers provide structured preparation,\nincluding targeted revision and additional online support sessions for students\nwho need reinforcement, ensuring every child is equipped for success.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>A\nstrong culture of reading and literacy underpins all areas of learning. Through\nplatforms such as Bug Club, IXL, CENTURY Tech and ActiveLearn, students develop\ncomprehension skills, vocabulary and a genuine love for reading. These are\nfurther enriched through events such as Literacy Week, alongside dedicated\nwriting and comprehension activities across the curriculum.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>Beyond\nthe classroom, we believe that academics should be experienced, celebrated and\nbrought to life. Each year, students explore a country through Humanities,\nculminating in three key events: a Country Overview project, a Learning Display\nwhere parents are invited to experience student learning firsthand and a\nvibrant cultural festival. These experiences allow students to connect\nknowledge with real-world contexts while developing presentation, research and\ncommunication skills.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>Our\nacademic programme is further enriched through events such as Maths Week,\nScience Week and participation in prestigious competitions including the\nInternational Mathematics Challenge (IMC), International Maths Day and IST\ncompetitions.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>At\nthe same time, we recognise and celebrate student talent across a wider\nspectrum. Through Drama, students develop confidence, expression and\ncommunication skills, often showcased in performances and learning displays. In\nPhysical Education, students are given opportunities to participate in a range\nof competitive sports, representing the school in both internal and\ninter-school events. A highlight of this year was our \u201cHall of Fame\u201d, a\ndedicated event celebrating talented students across different fields where\nstudents had the opportunity to perform, compete and be recognised for their\nachievements in front of a wider audience.<\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<\/p><p><span>Equally important\nis our commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. Students\nactively participate in meaningful initiatives such as the Winter Drive,\nsupporting those in need, and Ramadan community activities that foster empathy\nand generosity. Environmental awareness is also a key focus, with students\nengaging in events such as World Water Day and Recycling Month, where they\nlearn about sustainability and responsible citizenship. We also place strong\nemphasis on student wellbeing through initiatives such as Mental Wellness\nMonth, where students explore strategies to support their emotional health and\nbuild resilience. These experiences help students develop a strong sense of\npurpose, compassion and global awareness alongside their academic growth.<\/span><span> <\/span><span><\/span><\/p><p>\n\n<span>By the end of
